Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Services: Assessment
(she/her)
Headshot of Dr. Autumn Soliz of NeuroSpark Health, specializing in autism, ADHD, and AuDHD assessments in most U.S. states.

Hi, I’m Autumn. I’m a licensed psychologist living in Florida. Like many, I didn’t have a name for my neurodivergence or even fully identify it until I was an adult. However, I found myself consistently drawn to learning about and advocating for the neurodiversity movement. I often felt most understood by peers and supervisors with similarly functioning brains. With time and support, I learned how to tap into my strengths and built a path towards success that prioritized my needs.

Living in our neurotypical society can feel isolating and frustrating at times, but I think having a better understanding of ourselves allows us to connect with other neurodivergent individuals and can be the first step towards hope. No matter where you are in this process, I really enjoy being a part of it. Being a safe space for others to explore their differences so they can tap into their strengths and build their own path is such an incredible honor, and I don’t take it lightly. My approach as a clinician very much mirrors who I am in my personal life, where I value authentic connections, genuineness, and humor.

Outside of work, I spend my time crocheting, reading, sewing, writing fiction, painting, or caring for my plants. I often find myself hopping around from hobby to hobby and have found I am happiest when I’m setting aside time for at least one of them every day.

Dr. Soliz’s Professional Bio

Autumn completed an APA-accredited doctoral internship at a community mental health center in Colorado, where she completed a year-long assessment and therapy rotation working with children, adolescents, and adults. Autumn also completed shorter rotations assessing clients at a walk-in crisis center, conducting individual therapy with clients from the Justice, Accountability, and Recovery program, and co-leading an adolescent art therapy group. She continued to advocate for neurodiversity and led a company-wide training on it and the importance of celebrating the culture of Autism.

Upon completing her doctorate degree, Autumn joined a small private practice in St. Petersburg, FL, and conducted therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. She then went on to open her own private practice, where she now sees adult clients virtually for therapy. Over time, Autumn has found she often attracts clients who live outside the norm and are seeking help learning how to accept and celebrate what makes them unique rather than forcing themselves to fit within society’s standards.
