Why Clients Choose NeuroSpark Health

Lived Experience

There are too many neurotypical-dominated spaces in this field, and we’re here to change that. That’s why ALL of our team members are neurodivergent.

Neurodiversity-Affirming

We celebrate neurodiversity as a fundamental aspect of human variation. Our assessments and support services are designed to affirm, validate, and de-pathologize each individual’s neurodivergent identity.

Respect for Intersectionality

We strive to infuse DEI practices in everything we do. We especially want to eliminate barriers for women, people of color, LGBTQIA+, and gender-diverse folks as they face disproportionate rates of diagnosis and care.

Post-Diagnosis Support

We understand that identification/diagnosis is only the beginning. We’ve designed our service offerings to provide you with ongoing support, including ND-affirming therapy, coaching, and assistance with the ADA disability accommodations process.

Human Connection

We answer our phones and emails personally. Please feel free to connect, say hi, or ask any questions you may have. We’d love to hear from you. We also provide resources and recommendations that are helpful, meaningful, and tailored to your unique needs as a neurodivergent adult.

Our Story

After recognizing and personally experiencing the gap in specialized services for neurodivergent and autistic adults, we decided to be the change.

NeuroSpark’s mission is to provide comprehensive, specialized ADHD, AuDHD, and autism assessments for adults and ND-affirming support services, including coaching, therapy, burnout support, and accommodations consulting.

Callie DiRafaelle, Practice Manager

Hi! My name is Callie and I’ve worked in healthcare for over 25 years. Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a passion for improving access to care, especially for underserved communities. I hold a Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) and am bilingual in Spanish, which has allowed me to connect with and advocate for a broader range of individuals.

Outside of work, I’m a mom to three wonderful kids (2 who are neurodivergent), and I love spending time outdoors and with my family.

Come As You Are

Whether you’re seeking a diagnosis, coaching support, therapy, or help with accommodations, we’re glad you’re here.

Take your time. Read our bios. See who resonates.

There’s no “right” way to be neurodivergent. There’s just your way. And we’re here to support it.

I feel more comfortable in my own skin, and also like I can now look back on my past actions and behaviors and give myself a little more grace.

Neurospark Health is the best! So happy I found this place because they changed my life. They gave me the insight I needed to flourish in basically all areas of my life. Dani and Autumn are super awesome, kind, and understanding. 100% recommended, worth it, and completely necessary for life. ❤️

I’m glad that self-diagnosis is accepted among the community, but the need for evidence, proof, support, whatever you want to qualify it as, is something that my mind just needed.

Everything I’ve experienced makes so much more sense now.

As far as my experience with NeuroSpark Health, I want to say that your method of evaluation is excellent.

Just knowing the provider I was working with was on my team, helped greatly.

The evaluation with NeuroSpark was like night and day compared to my other evaluation which felt cold and judgmental.
You both made me feel encouraged and supported and were excellent at really listening to me.
Something that really has stuck with me… is that I didn’t have to wait on a diagnosis to start supporting myself. The diagnosis helps me understand myself better, but I’ve also reflected on this statement and have realized that supporting myself is not selfish and I need to not feel shame in that. Thank you for this simple statement. It has helped me more than you know.
This feels like a victory, especially for my self understanding.
I am feeling better already about all my struggles. It’s amazingly healing to connect with someone who gets it.
First and foremost, I want to thank you for creating such a welcoming and non-judgmental environment.

NeuroSpark Health created a very safe environment for me to share the struggles (and embarrassments) I experienced as a child/teen. Disclosing those experiences is typically something I avoid as an adult as it sparks a very high level of vulnerability; however, the professionals at NeuroSpark recognized that and worked hard to respect and acknowledge my past struggles without judgment.

I feel relief that there is finally some explanation for the differences between myself and many of my peers, especially during childhood and adolescence.
Working with NeuroSpark Health has been incredibly valuable to me both personally and professionally.

Fewer than half of neurodivergent employees receive necessary workplace accommodations. That number is even smaller for women

“Take a look at Elon Musk, says Julie Landry, PsyD, a clinical psychologist at NeuroSpark Health. The tech entrepreneur opened up about having Asperger’s at a opening monologue and received praise for his intelligence and willingness to take risks. Virgin founder Richard Branson is another billionaire who has attributed his dyslexia for his ability to think outside the box.”

What Social Media Gets Wrong About ADHD

Dr. Landry helps WonderMind break down the biggest things social media gets wrong about ADHD.

Because a lot of these videos or posts oversimplify what it’s like to live with the disorder, it’s possible a neurotypical person who didn’t get enough sleep or is dealing with relationship issues could assume their struggle to focus is ADHD-related, says clinical psychologist Julie Landry, PsyD.

“For some autistic individuals, navigating sex, sexuality and relationships may be confusing or overwhelming,” says Julie Landry, PsyD, a board-certified clinical psychologist from San Antonio, Texas.
