Bree McDaniel, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist, consultant and facilitator. She has over 15 years of experience in the fields of mental health, academia, and the nonprofit sector. Dr. McDaniel has provided direct service, as well as trained and supervised clinical psychology graduate students and other mental health professionals in a variety of clinical contexts including community mental health, inpatient, substance use treatment, school-based, human rights, private practice, and university settings. She also collaborates with organizations to cultivate a more inclusive and emotionally healthy workplace culture.

While in graduate school, Dr. McDaniel worked primarily with children, adolescents and families. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Ann Martin Center for Psychotherapy and Educational Support in Northern California. During her internship and fellowship, Dr. McDaniel developed skills in psychodiagnostic assessment of various mental health conditions. She later had the opportunity to utilize her assessment background when she worked at the University of California, Berkeley as a Counseling Psychologist providing career assessments to college and graduate students. She then went on to work for a human rights agency and acquired the skills to complete psychological evaluations to support adult asylum seekers in gaining asylum.

Over the last few years, Dr. McDaniel has had the privilege and opportunity to work with and support neurodivergent individuals in her private practice. She is dedicated to working with neurodivergent individuals from all walks of life, particularly those from queer and BIPOC communities.
