Virtual Autism + ADHD Assessment

Adult Autism & ADHD Assessments

We welcome late-identified, self-exploring adults for autism and ADHD assessments.

If you have always struggled to fit in, you belong here.

If you are high-masking or have learned to compensate for your differences, welcome.

If you have been misunderstood by medical providers or society at large, we get it.

You deserve specialized, nonjudgmental, neurodiversity-affirming care.

Specialties

Getting a diagnosis as an adult doesn't have to feel impossible. Begin your journey with confidence with a provider who understands:

High-Masking

Late-identified adults often come to us with a lifetime of masking strategies that warrant careful exploration and consideration. We are experts in recognizing the more nuanced or internalized signs of autism.

AuDHD

Understanding AuDHD requires specialized knowledge of how autism and ADHD influence each other and show up in adult presentations. Most of our team are AuDHDers– we intimately understand the overlap.

Queer and trans

We approach assessments with an affirming, inclusive mindset, helping individuals explore and express their identities while considering the intersection of gender diversity and neurodiversity.

High intelligence

Autism and ADHD characteristics in those with above-average cognitive abilities can be more frequently missed by other providers. Our highly intelligent clients may have excelled at school or at work, but experience intense difficulties in other areas that go unrecognized. We look beyond your “performance” to understand your lived experience.

Second-Opinion

Our comprehensive second opinion evaluations provide clients with clarity and confidence in their evaluation results. Many clients also choose a second opinion evaluation because they’re looking for a different assessment experience and to correct any suspected misdiagnoses.

Women/AFAB

We understand the social, emotional, and identity-related challenges women/AFAB face and provide tailored evaluations to help them gain a clearer understanding of themselves, their needs, and their strengths.

PDA

PDAers may mask their difficulties but internally experience overwhelming anxiety or stress in the face of demands. This means that recognizing PDA requires a nuanced understanding of how anxiety and demand avoidance manifest, which can differ significantly from other presentations.

People of Color

Racial and ethnic minority groups face unique challenges when seeking a diagnosis. We acknowledge that POC may experience systemic barriers, cultural differences, and healthcare disparities that can affect both the recognition and understanding of autism and ADHD in their communities.

2e

Many adults are missed as children because they are twice-exceptional. Our evaluations focus on identifying and diagnosing individuals who are both gifted (or intellectually advanced) and autistic/ADHD.

Mental health providers

Healthcare providers may struggle to objectively identify whether their personal experiences or challenges may be related to autism or ADHD, particularly in the context of masking, burnout, or sensory overload. Although their careers are highly social in nature, they can experience significant difficulties.
