Rayne Palombit, PsyD

Hi, I’m Rayne – pronounced like “rainy,” but I’m often told my name should be “sunny” instead because of my brightness and warmth. I am a queer, gender non-conforming, and neurodivergent psychologist living between Los Angeles and New York City (although proudly from the Midwest!). My career and personal life are dedicated to supporting folks who have been ignored, dismissed, and harmed by conventional societal structures, norms, and systems. I strive for everything I do to be informed by social and disability justice, intersectional feminism, liberation, decolonization, and community.
My person-centered approach honors you as the expert of your experience and creates a safe, affirming space for exploration. We will work together to deepen self-discovery and self-compassion and move forward with a greater sense of calm and belonging. My practice is informed by my specialized training and experience working with queer, gender diverse, neurodivergent, and multicultural people, as well as those with complex trauma.
When I am not working, I love to be in nature, watch films, play board games, read, volunteer, do yoga, go to museums, and spend time with my community and loved ones.
